Connect a customer domain

A custom domain lets you publish short links and campaigns under your own brand while keeping the Linka Factory redirect engine behind it.

Connection steps

  1. 1Add the domain or subdomain in Linka Factory.
  2. 2Create a CNAME to connect.linkafactory.com at your DNS provider.
  3. 3Let verification detect DNS, then wait for SSL finalization.
  4. 4Publish short links and campaigns on that domain once it is marked ready.

DNS detected

The CNAME points to the right target. The domain may still wait for certificate finalization.

SSL pending

A few minutes of waiting is normal. If it stays blocked for 30 to 60 minutes, rerun verification and contact support.

Ready to publish

The domain can be selected for short links and campaigns in the authorized account.

Account isolation

A customer domain stays attached to the account that connected it. It cannot be used by another account without a new verification.

Normal delays

DNS propagation and SSL certificates can take a few minutes. A prolonged block deserves another verification and then a support request.

Branded publishing

Once ready, the domain can serve short links and campaigns that are more readable than the shared domain.
